ITINERARY
Day 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Welcome to Guwahati! Early morning visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Return back to hotel after breakfast visit Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra – a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Evening River Cruise on the mighty river Brahamaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis) and visit local market in Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 02: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Take a city tour of Shillong. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. The city’s own Ward’s Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating. Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with stretches of roses & exquisite flowers. The Mini zoo adjacent to the park has several birds & mammals. Next stop is the Shillong Golf Course, one of the largest in Asia charted amidst thick pine groves & rhododendron trees. The ‘Gleneagle of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The State Museum & Don Bosco Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya & the Northeast. Overnight at Hotel/Resort in Shillong.
Day 03: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE
Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkali Kai Falls, Seven sister falls, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at CHERRAPUNJEE.
Day 04: CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI
Morning after breakfast drive back to Guwahati. Visit the Elephant Falls – a two-tier waterfall in Shillong, Balaji Temple & Basistha Ashram. Later back to Guwahati. Drop off at Guwahati ISBT Lokhra Bustand for onward journey. Tour ends with everlasting memories of North East India…!!

- 30-15 Days prior to departure: 30% of tour cost
- 14-07 Days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
- 07-03 Days prior to departure: 75% of tour cost
- 02 Days/No show: 100% of tour cost
